Nashua School District

Nashua School District serves over 12,000 students in four-year-old kindergarten through twelfth grade,  including  17 schools — twelve elementary schools, three middle schools, and two high schools.

One of the biggest challenges to the redesign was the need for a revised architecture to service multiple user groups.  There was a lot of confusion also with the redundancy of links and navigation on the site.  Greenlight Interactive provided a number of services to create a highly usable, engaging and dynamic website to service the needs of students, parents, staff and community.

Services Provided:  Usability Analysis, Target Market Segmentation and Personas, Surveys, Web Statistics Data Analysis, Wireframes, Focus Groups, One-on-one interviews, Information Architecture, Brand Consultation, Logo design, Web site design and CMS web site development, Content Migration, Training.  A data dashboard application was also developed from scratch to allow for transparency in grades and reporting.  Special attention was allocated to information on the Common Core.

“Our website project had to be a success, and I know we are well on our way with our launch date just two weeks away.  We are on budget, on time, and on task because of Jamie’s great project management skills, usability research skills, communication skills and, above all, accessibility.  Jamie is guiding us through the final edits and refinements to a site that we are confident will inform, advise, and connect our users with the work of the District.  In addition, the data dashboard and searchable staff directory, key elements to the site’s redesign, respond to our community’s need for accountability and accessibility.”
